WaysConf is the largest conference in CEE dedicated to digital products.
The organizers wanted to encourage event attendees to network with each other and to actively participate in discussions with speakers. They also wanted to keep them updated with all event info so that they don’t miss out on anything.
With Gridaly’s Mobile App, WaysConf delivered an immersive event experience, where attendees could schedule networking sessions, interact with speakers, build a personalized event agenda, and be up-to-date with all event activities.
Traditional in-person events don’t always encourage attendees to interact with speakers, as some may find it intimidating to ask questions or share their comments. For that reason, WaysCons organizers decided to integrate Slido into the Gridaly Mobile App so that the speakers could be fully connected with the attendees. The attendees were able to ask questions, vote in polls, and take part in quizzes during the speakers’ presentations. They were also able to give feedback on each agenda point simply by rating it from 1 to 5 stars in the in-app agenda.
Navigating among several stages at the event venue can be problematic. That’s why WaysConf launched the live agenda feature in the Gridaly Mobile App, which allowed attendees to personalize their agendas by adding agenda points that they deemed interesting. What is more, by implementing a venue map in the app, the organizers made it easy for attendees to find a way to the stages.
With so much going on at the event venue, it is quite easy to forget about a scheduled meeting or a lecture. WaysConf organizers prepared a series of notifications that would pop up in the Gridaly Mobile App and remind attendees about upcoming agenda points, networking sessions, and business mixers. They also used in-app notifications to inform attendees about a secret afterparty that was happening after the main part of the event.
